Search for Higgs boson at Tevatron. Dr. Marco Rescigno The CDF experiment has collected more than 2 fb-1 of p-pbar collisions and expect to collect up to 8 fb-1 before 2009. With this statistics the experiment will be sensitive to Standard Model Higgs in the 115-125 GeV mass range or in the mass range around 150-160 GeV. The student will join the current effort of improving the potentials of the CDF experiment either both in particle identification (leptons and b-jets) and in triggering schemes.
