The production of ultra radio-pure components for CUORE is starting. A production database is under development to keep tracks and drive this very delicate process. Dr. Silvio Morganti CUORICINO is an array of 62 TeO2 bolometers designed to search for the neutrinoless double beta decay (0nuDBD) of 130Te. With a total mass of 40.7 kg of TeO2, corresponding to about 11 kg of 130Te, this is one of the most sensitive experiments presently running. Moreover CUORICINO is the pilot experiment for the next generation Double Beta Decay experiment CUORE. Period: June-July or September-November. No August. |
