Application forms should be accompanied by a list of publications and by a letter of reference from the candidate's research group leader or professor, testifying his qualifications and interest in attending the Course.
Applications will be considered by the President of the Italian Physical Society and by the Directors of the Course. On the basis of the information submitted, they will make a choice, also considering a fair distribution of places among the students from the various countries. The number of students should not exceed 50.
Whoever may be interested in attending the Course and is not entitled - for his age (the limit is around 30) or other reasons - to be considered a student, may follow the Course as observer. The number of observers cannot exceed 10 people. Observers should provide for their board and lodging; if required, the School may take care of their accommodation. They have no duties to the School, nor the School to them.
Deadline for application: April 20, 2008
Applicants will be informed with a Letter of the decision on their admittance within 30 days from the beginning of the Course. Owing to the limited number of places in the lecture hall, it will not be possible to allow any person not selected by the Committee of the School to follow the Courses.
