Prof. Guido Ciapetti The ATLAS experiment at the LHC collider will study proton-proton collisions searching for the Higgs boson, for supersymmetric particles and other processes at the new highest energy frontier in particle physics. The student can join people working in the preparation of the tools for the study of the events that will be collected at the experiment or can contribute to the analysis of the cosmic rays recorded in the detectors.
