Mu-Tau Lepton Flavour Violation in Supersymmetry

A. Brignole - INFN, Padova

The search for lepton flavour violating (LFV) transitions is an important window into physics beyond the Standard Model. In supersymmetric models the LFV source is the potential misalignment of lepton and slepton mass matrices, and LFV effective operators are generated by superparticle loops. I will focus on LFV effects in the mu-tau sector and discuss several LFV processes (tau decays, Z decays, Higgs decays), showing what rates and correlations can be obtained in a general MSSM framework.
