Classical interaction of a point-like particle with the electromagnetic field. Minimal substitution. Electromagnetic interaction of fields and lagrangian density. Gauge transformation and Gauge Principle. Quantization of the interaction lagrangian. Non derivative interactions. Scattering matrix.
