Abstract: Abstract: Recalling the work, mostly due to Benfatto, introducing the quasi particles as a tool to define and use the renormalization group in the infrared theory of low temperature systems of fermions and a brief list of other contributions that he authored to illustrate the width of his works in theoretical Physics.
