Microsoft Azure sponsorship

GeNIALE has been awarded by Microsoft for a Microsoft Azure Research Award.

This sponsorship will help and speed up the work we are doing to tailor the input parameters of BLOB, a model developed to simulate nuclear interaction of heavy ions in the energy range of interest for hadrontherapy. Thanks to the large computing capabilities, it will be possible to run the possible configurations with enough statistic to reproduce the experimental data and tailor the model on them.
