Students with a bachelor degree (or that are going to get one within summer 2025) have the opportunity to spend a period as summer students at the Paul Scherrer Institute. An allowance will be paid to cover the travel and accommodation expenses.
The length of the stay is of 8-12 weeks from 1st July to 31st August (dates are actually flexible). In this period students will be part of a reasearch group at PSI contributing to its research activities. Students will also attend complementary lectures about the main areas of research at PSI with the opportunity to visit experiments and laboratories.
PSI covers a broad range of reasearch topics, therefore internships with different Centers are available, including the PSI Center for Neutron and Muon Sciences, of which the MEG II and MuonEDM experiments are part. To apply to the program you must fill the application form providing also your curriculum vitae, a motivation letter and your degree diploma: applications are open until 28th February 2025.
Visit the PSI Summer Student Program webpage for further information on the program.
