Outreach projects

My outreach work combines coordination, public speaking, and the design of participatory formats for particle physics, from European Researchers' Night, International Masterclasses, and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science to HEPscape!, school seminars, and activities connecting INFN with students, teachers, and wider audiences.

  • ERNEST immersive science outreach activity ERNESTEuropean Researchers' Night Escape Science Team: a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions project funded by the European Commission, GA 101305138.
  • HEPscape outreach activity HEPscape! An INFN participatory project and particle-physics escape room designed to bring high-energy physics to festivals, schools, and public events.
  • A Volte Ritornano seminar poster A Volte RitornanoSeminar series at Liceo Scientifico P. Ruffini where former students now active in research share current science with high-school students.
  • International Day of Women and Girls in Science presentation International Day of Women and Girls in ScienceOutreach and mentoring activities highlighting paths into physics and research for young students.
  • Students participating in a science masterclass activity CMS Master ClassesOne-day activities where students analyze real CMS collision events.
  • CMS detector used in virtual visits CMS Virtual VisitRemote visits connecting students, teachers, and the public with CMS scientists.
