MC INFN
MC-INFN started in 2012 inside the Committee V, as a common effort of Geant4 and Fluka Monte Carlo codes developers with the mission to catalyse the experience and activity on Monte Carlo use and developments inside INFN.
FLUKA and Geant4 both provide the framework of the research activities:
- Code development and validation;
- National and international groups support;
- Dissemination;
- Cross-activity is especially connected with the applications in Medical Physics.
