Contributions for sons and daughters who attend lower and upper secondary schools and the University   ▽

The contribution can be granted to employees with sons or daughters who attend:

  • state, equal and legally recognized lower and upper secondary schools, including professional institutes;
  • state or free universities or schools for special purposes, as per D.P.R. 10.03.1982 n. 162, namely Academies of fine arts, National dance academy, National academy of dramatic art, Higher institutes for the artistic industries, Music conservatories and equalized musical institutes, as per law 21 December 1999 n. 508;
  • special schools for people with disabilities.

Meal vouchers and replacement services   ▽

All employees, in addition to the compulsory entry and exit stamps, can validate their actual “lunch breaks” by means of a pair of exit and subsequent entry stamps. In the absence of validation stamps or if stamps are less than those required pursuant to Art. 5, paragraph 10 above, the break is in any case automatically calculated to last 30 minutes.

For Technical/Administrative staff, the break must take place within the flexibility period: Monday to Thursday from 12.30 pm to 1.45 pm, and Fridays from 12:30 pm

Researchers/Technologists have flexible working hours.

Who is entitled to a meal voucher

  • Permanent and fixed-term employees (on actual attendance, per the staff schedule);
  • Scholarship and Research Grant holders (meal vouchers will be provided only after the attached form, duly completed and signed by the person concerned and by his/her supervisor, has been submitted to the Personnel Office).

Scholarship Recipients and Research Grant Holders

In order to receive meal vouchers, scholarship holders and research grant holders must fill out, sign and submit to the Personnel Office, by the 7th day of the month following the month in question, the Declaration of on-site activities". The form is in “editable” pdf format; you can download, fill out, save and print it.

SHORT-TERM ABSENCE
(some examples of short-term absence for meal voucher allocation purposes)

The following short-term absence reasons do not entitle an employee to receive meal vouchers

  • HOLIDAYS/RESIDUAL HOLIDAYS/ABOLISHED HOLIDAYS
  • COMP TIME
  • SHORT PERMIT
  • OFF-SITE ACTIVITIES
  • TRAVEL TIME
  • TRAINING ACTIVITY
  • ILLNESS
  • BLOOD DONATION
  • STUDY PERMITS
  • BIRTH OF CHILD - COMPELLING FAMILY REASONS (DAYS/HOURS)
  • JUDICIAL AUTHORITY SUMMON
  • POLLING STATIONS WORK
  • FAMILY HANDICAP PERMITS (DAYS/HOURS)

The following cases entitle an employee to receive meal vouchers

  • OVER TIME WORK
  • WORK-RELATED ABSENCE
  • BREASTFEEDING
  • TRADE UNION PERMIT (only if hourly)
  • TRADE UNION MEETING

The insurance contracts will be valid from 12:00 am of 30/09/2020 until 12:00 am of 30/09/2023 (with possible three-year renewal).

Interested employees can fill a subsidy application, as it pertains to expenses incurred in the previous calendar year (and attaching the expense documents in a pdf file), using the web interface accessible from the Central Administration portal

Submission deadline:

  • • pursuant to the Circular (sent every year by the Headquarters Offices).

Procedures

  • from 1 March to 31 May: applications will be evaluated by the appropriate Central Administration Office;
  • by 31 July: the Commission will draw up a ranking list;
  • within 30 days of the Commission meeting: the employee will be informed of the outcome of his/her request by email;
  • • by 30 September: the employee has the opportunity to submit a request for reconsideration.
